I was going to buy an OBD II scanner and a Phonograph preamp. I told my wife what I was getting and she said,
I don't know why I ask. I'm hoping one day you'll say, "Shoes" and I'll go, "I know what that is!"
After explaining what those were she told me not to buy the OBD II scanner because she was going to buy me an !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for my birthday. I'm pretty pumped for my birthday now.
If anyone is interested I ignored !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and bought these.

I have a USB NES controller and it is worth all the pennies I pad for it and many more.

hmm, I may have to get that N64 controller... Along with a USB extension, X2, my friends will love me if I have these!
What are your N64 favorites?
Some of mine are:
Super Mario 64 (partially because it was the first N64 game I played)
Goldeneye (ofcourse)
Perfect Dark (because laptop gun)

I am seriously offended you did not buy the items I suggested, mainly the awesome ice pack, but also the snow cone maker...

I'm having a hard time coming up with anything besides Super Mario 64, Goldeneye and Blast Corps.

If it makes you feel any better, I don't care.

N64 controller, do it. They also make USB adaptors that you can plug regular N64 controllers into. Calibration can be a bitch, but it's worth it seeing Super Mario 64 (or any game, really) in HD with no framerate issues

I ordered it already. I'll be acquiring an emulator and roms tonight hopefully. I've got a box hooked up to my tv that I currently play SNES on.

Yeah the last time I played N64 emulator my PC could barely handle it, the one I have now should be more than capable, and then some to handle it.
I hear Project 64 is a good one, what do you use?

I'll have to check out blast corps, I hear Project 64 is a good one, is that what you use or would you recommend something else?

I haven't used an N64 emulator yet. The thought of trying to play with a mouse and keyboard is terrifying

Blast corps is good. You get to blow stuff up and drive all kinds of cool shit.

In that case recommend you to read the first comment on that N64 controller, it outlines how to get it working, which sounds like it would be very tricky unless you read that first.

Yeah, Project 64 is the way to go. I don't throw around the word perfect, but it's pretty damn close.

I tried it out yesterday, definitely need that controller, haha. But the emulator runs real well. Only tried it with Mario 64 so far.
